Preschool & Just For Fun Classes
Our recreational classes form the foundation of our nurturing, non-competitive programme.
These classes focus on building confidence, developing coordination and introducing the basics of cheerleading and tumbling - all within a fun, encouraging environment.
Perfect for families seeking a positive space where children can gain confidence and make new friends.
Our recreational teams train 45 minutes - 1.5 hours per week, term time only.
Tumble Academy
Our Tumble Academy is a dedicated tumbling programme for athletes who want to focus on tumbling as a discipline, as well as cheerleaders looking to develop and progress their advanced tumble skills.
You do not need to be a South Coast Cheer athlete to join — the Tumble Academy is open to everyone.
We offer structured training from Levels 1–6, beginning with foundational skills such as rolls and cartwheels, and progressing through to handsprings, somersaults, and twisting skills, supporting athletes at every stage of their tumbling journey.
Our Tumble Academy classes are held on a Monday, Wednesday & Thursday term time only.
Novice Teams
Our novice cheer teams are the first steps in competitive cheerleading. There is no entry level requirement for these teams.
These teams are designed as the perfect bridge between recreational and competitive cheerleading. Athletes will continue to enjoy the fun, supportive environment they love, while being gently introduced to a more focused and structured side of cheer.
Teams will attend 2–3 local, friendly competitions per season, giving athletes their first taste of competitive cheer in a positive, low-pressure setting. This program is ideal for recreational athletes who are ready for a little more challenge and commitment, without jumping straight into full competitive cheer.
Our novice teams train 1.5-2.5 hours per week, 45 weeks of the year..

Prep Teams
Prep Teams are the next step from Novice, designed for athletes who are ready for more structure and commitment while still competing in a supportive, less pressurised environment.
These teams are ideal for budding cheerleaders who want to take their training more seriously and begin connecting with the wider cheerleading community. While the focus remains positive and encouraging, Prep Teams are more competitive than Novice and require athletes to already have basic foundational skills.
Prep Teams train 2–3 hours per week and attend 3–4 competitions per year, offering the perfect balance of growth, challenge, and fun.

Allstar Teams
Allstar Teams are the next progression from Prep and are designed for athletes ready to fully commit to competitive cheerleading. These teams are highly competition-focused and offer a more demanding training and performance environment.
Athletes train twice per week (totaling 3.5 - 4 hours) and compete at 3–5 competitions per season, with at least one event requiring travel within the UK. Due to the increased competitive focus, Allstar Teams require a high level of commitment, attendance, and dedication.
Athletes must meet minimum skill requirements to join, including specific tumbling and stunting abilities, to ensure both safety and team success.

International Teams
International Elite Teams represent the highest level of our competitive pathway and are designed for experienced athletes committed to achieving excellence in cheerleading.
Athletes train twice per week (totalling 4–6 hours), with additional training sessions required when necessary. These teams demand a higher skill level than Prep and Allstar, and athletes are expected to have previous competitive cheer experience.
With the highest commitment level, International Elite Teams are intensely focused on performance, progression, and competitive success.
